African Animal – Hippo & Baby

Each sculpture is quality crafted in cold-cast bronze, giving exceptional warmth of character and meticulous attention to detail. Zawadi cold-cast bronze sculptures are made on a solid limestone and silica core which is then coated in a thin layer of bronze metal powder mixed with a bonding agent, this layer of cold cast bronze is then burnished to a sheen and detailed by hand to recreate the unique characteristics of each animal.
Complete with its own story card, each sculpture is a fascinating portrayal of our interesting and unique African wildlife heritage.
